Origin of Name:
The name of our business originated from the memory of a wonderful and kind caring lady- our grandmother. In the early family the mother was the nurse, taking care of her family and friends in the home with compassion, care and understanding. As the years followed schools of nursing opened up and nurses became recognized around the world, especially in the field of home care. Our own mother, a very special person was a Registered Nurse, she compassionately and with love in her heart devoted all her life to helping care for others. Our greatest inspiration to move forward with our home care service has been through these two wonderful caring people. Realizing ourselves that there was a need to help bring back good old-fashioned professional and quality nursing care we moved forward with the help of family and friends and started Aggie's HomeCare Services.
Personal Information about our Family:
Combining our 25 years of
experience in the nursing profession and managerial department our family
has gained a compassionate understanding of how to share in the caring for
those in need of homecare. All of our nurses are in good standing with the
College of Nurses of Ontario and members of the Nurses Association and
some hold certificates for Registered Practical Nurses in Independent
Practice. We have been involved in volunteer work and received a
certificate of appreciation for our volunteer services
& commitment .We have organized various seminars, been
involved in a non-profit organization for three years, guest speakers with
local organizations such as the KW Genealogical Society and Henderson
Hospital in Hamilton. We have had the opportunity of being involved in the
publication of a book titled "Community Outreach Project". Our two sons
and their wives are always there to lend a helping hand and offer
words of support and encougagement. Our wonderful grandchildren help
out by folding up brochures/flyers and putting stamps on envelopes. Our
own parents volunteer their time to help others in need. Our hobbies
include family gatherings, crafts, horses, and oil painting and home
renovations. We believe in God and working together as a family unit to
ensure that the health care needs of our community are met .

We truly understand the importance of independent living within the home for
those with health and mobility problems. We support families in both the city
and rural community's 24 hours a day 7 days a week offering an all in one
quality home care service. We offer many services from nursing to non-medical
for people in Norwich and all other surrounding areas. If you require extra care while in
the hospital or after your discharge we are here to provide professional
care for you. If you are residing in your own home, retirement or nursing
home and require additional care we have caring professional people to
help. If you are receiving home care through the government funded program
but require additional care we can assist you with this extra care. Our
mission is to provide the highest quality professional In-Home care for
all our clients. We believe that each person should be respected for their
personal and cultural backgrounds and are treated with total respect,
dignity, fairness and honestly at all times. Our family and staff are all
professional qualified experienced and caring people. Confidentiality,
staff identification and security are provided at all times. Our rates are
fair and affordable and as a registered business receipts are available
upon your request for income tax or insurance purposes. Services that we
have to offer are nursing visits by Registered Nurse's and Registered
Practical Nurse's. We offer Personal Care Services provided by qualified
Health Care Aide's and Personal Support Workers. Additional services that
we have to offer are, Homemaking, Caregiver/Companion Relief, Travel &
Live-In Companions. We of Aggie's HomeCare Service's are here to
help the people in need of home care, ensuring that our mission of quality
care is achieved by growing together with our community and other home
care providers. We care and understand and we want to see that everybody
in our region is provided with the home care they deserve and need. We
want people who are considering relocating to this area to know that good
